The October 8th,  meeting of the golden Triangle PC Club had a total of 14 members with no guests. The meeting was called to order by the clubs president, Don Schoening at 2:00PM. 

It was noted that the APCUG Photo contest entries date had been extended to October 31, 2006, That NFO Technologies would soon be offering computer parts and componets at wholesale prices, That the Better Business Bureau would be hosting a “Shred it and Forget it” during the month of Feb. 2007, that the August presentation by Greg Badeaux CD’s were available for pickup for those who ordered them. 

The president introduced Bob Mainard who then gave a presentation on Digital Photography and Cameras, which was followed by a Q and A session. 

After a brief  Q&A on cameras, The drawing of door prizes was held with Ric Johnson winning a 300 gig hard drive donated by Bob Mainard. Flash Drives provided by Office Depot (Charles Loftin, Mgr.of  Gateway store), were won by Claud Sibert, Marty Tirabasso, and John Mikeska. Pat Williams won “Adobe Acrobat 6.0” software provided by NFO Technologies. Ira Monroe won “Shadow Copy” software provided by NTI. 

A brief discussion on upcoming programs was held noting November 12th Ira Wilsker will host a “Q and A” on computers as time ran out during the September meeting leaving some our questions open. 

The meeting was adjourned at 3:35 PM.
