The meeting was called to order by club president Don Schoening, and Don welcomed members and guests. Don also provided an important message for cell phone users. At the end of May 2006, cell phone numbers are to be released to telemarketers with the user being charged for these call. You can block these calls by calling the National Do Not Call list from your cell phone, at 888-382-1222, or go to this web site: www.donotcall.gov.

Also mentioned was the major updates to Window utilities "Actual Tools Company" (Actual Window Manager), and Don also discussed how many members would be interested in the return of the GTPCC "Hardware Hounds" special interest group (SIG) prior to the regular club meeting.

The meeting continued with comments from Greg Badeaux of NFO Technologies. Mr. Badeaux provided information on the services provided by NFO Technologies, as well as his popular radio talk show "The Computer Guys." All in attendance received the NFO Utilities CD that has over 40 popular useful utilities.

The meeting continued with a interesting presentation by Calvin Sharp, club vice president, on the Adobe Elements 4 photo/image editing program.

The club then presented the door prizes, including two copies of Adobe Acrobat 6, which were provided by NFO Technologies. These were awarded to Carolin Ames and E.G. Reeves.

Club treasurer Jerry McDaniel discussed the need to use club funds for future door prizes, in order to benefit all club members.
